Reporting to the Senior VP & Managing Director, Assessment Division, this permanent, full-time position is responsible for ensuring high quality services are delivered to our clients including auto and disability insurers, employers, law firms and government agencies across Canada.

Comma Recruitment are looking for a consummate professional with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the medical-legal field, specifically reviewing medical, functional, psychological and vocational assessment reports, and knowledge of applicable insurance legislation, policies and regulatory guidelines to deliver assessment services/reports of the highest quality, in a timely manner and within with the scope of each referral.

What you bring

Thorough understanding of the Quality Assurance process, including proof-reading medical,  psychological, functional and vocational reports for consistency, completeness, accuracy,  spelling and grammar, all within assessors’ professional scope and mandate of specific referral.

Knowledge of medical terminology, transcription and/or editing

Knowledge of relevant legislation as it relates to key customers; knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) is mandatory.

Superior computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Adobe.

Experience with SmartSimple, SecureDocs and HCAI is an asset.

Experience in catastrophic claims and AMA Guides preferred.

Experience in liaising with adjusters, medical experts/assessors, employers, and legal representatives to meet customer service standards and achieve optimal outcomes.

Accountant – Payroll / Expense Accounts / Bank Reconciliation

Comma Recruitment are currently looking a talented individual with Accounting experience, comfortable with payroll, expense accounts, journal entries, bank reconciliations, experience with full cycle accounts is preferred but not essential.

Our client uses an outside CA for year end accounting, this team is responsible for month and year end accounting transactions, in preparation for the CA’s annual accounts. You will have a major input into Bi-weekly payroll, expense accounts and various reconciliations.

You will be a key contributor for the Accounting team, working within a national medical / healthcare company.

  • Prepare and Analyze financial documents
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll
  • Assist in month end / year end accounts
  • Communicate accounting results to outside Chartered Accountant for final year end accounts preparation
  • Manage month end and year end reconciliations, ledgers, expense accounts.

High Value Clients CSR – Personal Lines, RIBO $60 – $70k

Key Job Responsibilities
