Senior Bilingual Property and Casualty Underwriter

Comma Recruitment are looking for an experienced Property and Casualty Underwriter, the purpose of this position is to provide commercial Property and Casualty underwriting, risk classification and compliance to established standards.

Any experience with other lines including Auto is a real asset.

The candidate must be fully bilingual in French and English, a focus on customer service and satisfaction rather than target/production driven which is one of the many reasons why this role offers a senior, experienced underwriter a wonderful working environment and tremendous work/life balance

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years underwriting experience, ideally 10+ years industry experience
• Must be fluently bilingual in both French and English
• College or university degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working towards, or have attained, the CIP designation
• Ability to collaborate with peers and subordinates as well as the ability to work well independently
