Insurance Administration Assistant

Comma Recruitment are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform essential functions of the position that maintain the administrative workflow procedures and increase productivity for office as a whole.

The Administrative Assistant role will keep everything flowing from the start to the end of the day. From directing customers and documentation to the correct people, ensuring the office is stocked and running smoothly, to additional insurance related tasks as needed. This role is generally the first impression for the client so it is important to be professional, excel at customer service, be flexible and adaptive to change.

Job Duties

  • Be able to multi-tasks
  • Answer phones and distribute to the correct department and staff member
  • Distribute faxes and emails
  • Handle Stock
  • Tend to mail at the end of the day
  • Scanning and sorting incoming documentation
  • Distributing EDI/Downloads
  • Provide excellent customer service for first contact
  • Data input into our Broker Management System
  • Other duties as required to achieve team objectives
