Executive Underwriter, Casualty – National Underwriting

National Underwriting Executive, Corporate Casualty,

Comma Recruitment are looking for an experienced Executive Underwriter with 10 years progressive underwriting experience with special risks, large and complex Casualty. Experience with Professional Liability or Environmental Liability an asset.

Customizing solutions for clients when they need advice on covering our insurance risks, working closely with our Underwriters to develop unique Casualty solutions and act as a back-up for Professional Liability solutions.

You are passionate about maintaining strong relationships and paying attention to the smallest of details and written communications to help guide our underwriters in risk assessment.

This role involves corporate underwriting on a national perspective.

Experience with:

• Complex underwriting, with Professional Liability and EIL being a bonus
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Written communications

• 10+ years of Underwriting experience
• Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations
• Strong customer service background
