Comma Recruitment are looking for an Intake Analyst, a healthcare background with strong administration skills, a background working with IME’s and Kinesiology an advantage.

  • Respond to incoming communications from customers within client SLAs
  • Input data into W5 (patient data management system) and/or Client Referral Software
  • Review medical files and request missing information where applicable, ensuring adequate follow up where necessary
  • Input & maintain accuracy of information in W5 database (contact, patient, etc.)
  • Analyze referral & medical files to determine appropriate medical discipline for the file and process accordingly
  • Generate itemized list of documents for corresponding cases in W5 prior to assessments for all direct assessments, papers and occasionally addendums based on predetermined timelines
  • Generate and provide Information and Direction for Assessor about the purpose of the assessment
  • Documenting all communication between parties and ensuring it is clear, concise and comprehensive
  • Responsible for providing external and internal stakeholders with information about our services
  • Responds to requests from lawyers, insurance adjusters and employers for medical legal reports and correspondences
  • May be required to supervise and train support staff under the direction of the manager

Comma Recruitment are looking for a talented individual with the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of the rehabilitation and independent medical sector
  • Healthcare professional or healthcare background preferred but not mandatory (kinesiology)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • Customer service experience required, ideally in the service sector
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft office)
  • Ability to adapt to use of multiple databases
  • Ability to communicate well internally and externally
