Comma Recruitment are looking for a talented Commercial Auto Underwriter, ideally with 5+ years experience, the role is focused on maximizing broker satisfaction.

It requires demonstrated underwriting abilities in support of high, small and simple business exceptions, all within a broader authority level. Be accountable or production goals and targets and be expected to deliver an exceptional broker experience.

 

Some of the duties include:

·         Review, underwrite and enter Commercial Lines business including renewals, new business and  endorsements for low to medium complexity

·         Post claims underwrite (i.e. loss reports)

·         Quote and authorize business within corporate guidelines and individual authority levels

·         Respond to broker inquiries in regards to making modification to policies

·         Communicating and negotiation coverage and price with brokers within capping and deviation authority level limits

·         Be able to resolve technical and UW issues of medium complexity, including authority escalations

 

·         Comma Recruitment require a CIP designation or working towards

·         5 years progressive Commercial Auto insurance underwriting experience

·         Strong negotiation skills
