Excellent opportunity for an Accident Benefit Supervisor
Supervises adjusters, monitors quality, and assists with administrative tasks, strategy implementation and mentoring.
Ensure timely file disposition, reserve adequacy and maintain quality of file handling.
To provide coaching and appropriate instructions to accident benefits file handlers.
Lead, manage and develop staff to maximize full performance potential.
Establish and monitor performance targets to meet department goals and objectives.
Prepare performance reviews.
Respond to customer service complaints.
Assist with preparation and analysis of management reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Skill Requirements:
5+ years progressive claims experience
Able to supervise and mentor
CIP designation or working towards
Proven technical ability and reporting capabilities
Excellent communication and computer skills
Proven leadership ability with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
High level organizational and time management skills.
Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
Must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth
Solid understanding of technical components of accident benefits claims handling including a solid knowledge of SABS. (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule)
